Does your organization need to level-up a group of leaders?

Group coaching may be the answer!

Putting a group of leaders together can multiply results while keeping costs in check. In addition to learning from a coach, the group will learn from each other, hear diverse perspectives, and share the experience. Having a cohort also creates a community of individuals that holds each other accountable, collaborates on challenges, and supports each other long after the coaching sessions end.

Group coaching with How’s it Working? will accelerate your leaders’ growth by:

  • Focusing on over-arching coaching goals for the group based on the organization’s needs, framework, and / or assessments

  • Translating the over-arching goals into actions and behaviors that can be used everyday, then building plans to put into action

  • Having participants assess themselves and providing a framework to gather feedback on how their peers, managers, and subordinates see them

  • Reflecting actively on the self-assessments and feedback to identify specific attributes and behaviors participants want to stop, start, or continue using a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) framework

  • Focusing on participants taking actions, reflecting on outcomes, stepping up, and reporting back to their peers, creating accountability and driving action outside of the sessions

  • Setting a plan for themselves to continue their growth and hold themselves accountable

Group Coaching Logistics

  • Group size: Groups of no more than 10 participants

  • Time commitment: Participants typically dedicate 4 — 6 hours per month. This includes attending 2-monthly sessions (roughly an hour) and completing between-session "homework" or assignments

  • Professional Alignment: Groups are designed for level-based peers (e.g., senior leaders or supervisors) who share common developmental goals but lack direct reporting relationships with one another

  • Active Engagement: Participants are expected to provide peer accountability, troubleshooting, and encouragement to others in the group

  • Confidentiality Agreement: Participants must agree to "Road Rules" or ethical guidelines regarding privacy

  • Duration: Cohorts durations are 6- or 12-month in length
